Our Mission:
Our philosophy is to provide our customers with the high level of service frequently lacking in today’s modern society. We aim to offer an attractive, healthy, value-added range of Organic and Locally grown products catering for Vegetarian and Vegan diets whilst still catering for those who require no special menu, we hope to contribute to the personal well-being of all who visit Cafe Cinnamon Girl.
Our Cafe
Cafe Cinnamon Girl is set in a beautiful 450 year old courtyard which happens to be one of the oldest parts of Falmouth. The cafe used to be a stable block and was sold to the carn brewery in 1865, hence the name now. We pride ourselves by trying to only use produce and suppliers from our local community, this we feel helps to keep the local businesses alive. We have around 50 covers 25 inside and 25 outside, but when the sun shines - be prepared, it gets extremely hot. I would love a pound for every time I have been asked where I have been on holiday! We also pride ourselves on a pleasant atmosphere, something lacking in a lot of small cafes. We consider the cafe to be a destination cafe, and therefore feel we have to try harder than for a high street based venue.
Six Good Reasons to Support Organic Food Purchases
1 - Organic food is produced without chemical pesticides, fungicides and herbicides and is full of natural flavour.
2 - Organic farming has banned the use of all genetically modified organisms (GMOs) including seeds, crops and animals. Even the food of organic animals is GMO-free
3 - Organic standards require farmers to care for the countryside. This includes maintaining hedgerows, streams and other natural features and planting trees.
4 - Organic standards prioritise animal welfare. Livestock are given no routine antibiotics or growth-promoting drugs/
5 - Organic farms are good for wildlife. Surveys show that more birds and butterflies are found on organic farms.
6 - Organic farms generally employ more people, thus helping to safeguard the rural fabric.
